How do I use the email templates?

Email templates allow you to define a shell that wraps your email message during delivery so that your email messages can appear differently than they do online.

The email template defines placeholders for your message, subject and URLs that depend on the message or the recipient. Each email template must define a @TEXT placeholder where the contents of the email message are inserted before sending. Placeholders you can use include:

Message
@TEXT - Required. The body of the email message.
@SUBJECT - The subject of the email message.
@FORWARDURL - A sharing link for the email.
@POSTURL - A link back to the web version of the email.
 
Social
@BUBBLEICON - An image and URL that links back to your BubbleLife Connect site.
@FACEBOOKICON - An image and URL that links back to your Facebook page.
@TWITTERICON - An image and URL that links back to your Twitter page.

Sender
@GROUPNAME - The name of the BubbleLife Connect site.
@DOMAIN - The local community hosting the BubbleLife Connect site.
@HOST - The host portion of the BubbleLife Connect site.
@MAILEREMAIL - The email used as the from address.
@MAILERNAME - The name used as the from name.
@NOREPLYEMAIL - The email used as a default "noreply" address.
@FROMALERTSURL - A URL that links back to the sender's profile page.
@FROMNAME - The name of the person sending the message.

Recipient
@GROUPMEMBERSHIPURL - A URL that links back to the recipient's site options.

Conversation
@POSTREPLYEMAIL - When emails are sent in response to conversation threads, the email address used as the reply address.
@PREVIOUSTEXT - The message body of the previous message.
